When Jan’s husband contacted me this spring to ask if I would photograph his wife, my question to him was, “Of course, but don’t you want to be in them with her?”
“No, I just want a photograph of my wife.”
My heart melted. For a husband of many years to request a portrait of his wife just because…I couldn’t resist! We took advantage of a gorgeous yard in Nacogdoches and the blooming azaleas. Jan’s golden retriever, Marti, joined in to help her feel a little more comfortable.
